My sweet husband bought me a surprise yesterday. I came home to notes all over the house, that led me to the fridge where a cold pack of these were waiting for me after a long day at work.
Can you guess what they are without looking? My favorite flavor is Pomegranite. What's yours?
You've probably seen a lot of k on my blog lately. Lucky for me she likes to model, and she's a natural at it. This girl was born to stand in front of anything blue! Love her trendy bangs as well.
Just bought me one of these in red. I'm lovin' the pockets and the length. It's so comfy and I can just throw things in the pockets when I'm on the go!
Here's part II of the little man I posted over the weekend. I love his blue eyes and his two little teeth! Can't decide whether he looks more like mom, or dad, but this family is beautiful!
These gals have the most beautiful eyes. All three generations of them. Loved their character and sass! Oh yeah, grandpa is pretty cool too. Check out the blue dotted dress, grandma sewed that one.
The weather was finally perfect for this family session, after 2 rain outs. The last time I photographed this family, they only had 1 kiddo. Two is definitely more challenging, but twice the fun!
I have a lot of shoots to edit...but instead, I decided to go on a walk tonight. The weather was too perfect to pass up.
When I lived in the city I would take walks to explore my neighborhood. There isn't a ton to explore here, so instead I brought my friend k with me. We didn't find anything earth shattering, but I did love the red door, and the sunset over the lake. She's a pretty model, isn't she? And I love her new 'do.'
We got together with some friends this week for Cinco de Mayo. We had some delicious salsa varieties (loved the fruit salsa with cinnamon chips!) and flan shots. We ended the night with Nacho Libre Trivia, complete with the mask...but NO stretchy pants. There were some good lookin' little people there too!
I took the photos for this adorable announcement (see here). Friend Natalie did a beautiful job designing these baby announcements! Don't mind the whacked out color (what is UP with blogger!?). They're kind of a pastel/dirty blue and taupe in real life.
One of my favorite things to do on Saturday nights is to listen to Garrison Keillor on NPR. Who, you ask, is Garrision Keillor?
If you listen to NPR, and especially Minnesota Public Radio, you might know Garrison Keillor as the "man with the red shoes." His variety shows consist of story telling, folk songs, jokes, the "news from Lake Woebegon," and vintage style commercials. I think of it as the radio version of Saturday Night live with drier humor and more entertainment. I especially love it because of his references to Minnesota. His radio show, Prairie Home Companion, is one of the longest running radio shows of all time, and his broadcasts are done from the Fitzgerald Theatre in St. Paul, MN, but he also does tours all over the country.
Check out this clip of his "news from Lake Woebegon." Watch for the red shoes!
Back in the midwest! I'm a photographer who likes to 'smell the roses.' I love art, music, shoes, baking, and llamas. I am available for hire to do portraits, weddings, and events.
