humble roots.

I come from farming people, and in July we went to visit one of those old farms. This is the homestead built by my great-great grandfather Herman. He came to America from Germany and started a brick making business that became a foundational (literally) industry for the town. My great-grandfather-his son (Joseph) and his wife (Fredericka) later lived here, where they raised their 10 children. It was so much fun to spend time in this peaceful place!

I love the mis-matched collage look of this layout. I'm still thinking about how I want to print it...
